EQUIPMENT
Renaultsport bumpers, twin exhausts, extended front wings and sills, automatic Double Optic Xenon headlamps, headlamp wash, rain sensitive wipers, ISOFIX, driver, passenger and lateral airbags, R.A.I.D (Renault Anti-Intruder Device), Thatcham Cat 1 alarm, cruise control, speed limiter, drilled aluminium pedals, multi-function trip computer, climate control, Cabasse RDS stereo. Factory Options: Cup Spoiler Pack consisting of; additional front lower spoiler, enlarged rear spoiler. Cup Suspension Pack consisting of; lower ride height, stiffer springs and dampers, anthracite alloy wheels, revised steering geometry with wider track.

EXTERIOR
This Clio Renaultsport 182 benefits from both the available factory fitted option packs, the Cup Suspension Pack and Cup Spoiler Pack, and is often referred to as the preferable ‘Full Fat’ edition. This superb example remains exactly as it left the factory with the correct Cup Spoiler Pack front lower spoiler and rear upswept spoiler with red brake lamp lens, designed to aid aerodynamics. Likewise, the desirable Cup Suspension Pack, a £200 option, features a 3mm lower ride height, stiffer springs and dampers and new steering geometry including a 20mm wider front track and 10mm wider rear track. Finished in factory optional Titanium Metallic Supergloss, (Code 647), the paintwork boasts a bright uniform finish and all panels are straight and show linear gaps. Minor age-related markings have been carefully touched in to the bumpers and there is a light impression to the front bumper the size of a 10 pence piece. All trims sections are in superb order and all glass and light fitments are factory. An excellent and totally unmolested hot Renault.

INTERIOR
Climb into the deep figure-hugging sports front seats and along with the unique driving position and drilled aluminium pedals leave you in no doubt you are in an exhilarating Clio Renaultsport 182! The seats trimmed in Leather/Alcantara, (Code TICUI3), remain in fantastic condition and all bolsters are firm and intact. The upholstery is spotlessly clean as are all co-ordinating trim sections. There is some wear to the leather steering wheel grips. High specification includes climate control, cruise control and speed limit function as well as rain sensitive wipers and multi-function trip computer, all in working order. Entirely standard and original, Renault aficionados will delight at finding factory stickers within door apertures as well as the original Cabasse RDS stereo. A cherished and unspoilt example.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 2.0 VVT 182 engine is a marvel combined in a car weighing just 1090kgs and fitted with the Cup Suspension Pack. Performance figures of 0-62mph in 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 139mph are quoted but the thrill is in the track-focused driving dynamics that make this car a must drive. The engine bay is standard and very clean with factory stickers and labels clearly displayed. The 5-speed gearbox offers short positive movements to capitalise on the engine power band.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The anthracite alloy wheels a feature of the Cup Suspension Pack are in perfect condition. All four corners are shod in premium Pirelli PZero Nero tyres with masses of tread. Powerful disc brakes front and rear, (ABS) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), provides high performance stopping power.

HISTORY FILE
Supplied new on the 21st December 2005 by main dealer, The Renault Retail Group of Manchester, this example has had just two keepers from new and covered a low 55,933 miles. The previous owner since 2014 was a Mr Craig Allen, owner of Renault Specialist, Revolution Automotive in Peterborough. Full service history includes a cambelt change as well as the original stamped service book along with a large file of Renault main dealer invoices. The most recent service was carried in May 2019. Mr Allen was fastidious with the upkeep only ever using genuine Renault parts all documented. His search for the perfect Clio 182 was tedious viewing many incorrectly maintained cars or examples displaying abuse so this was snapped up quickly when discovered with its original owner. All MOT certificates have been kept to further verify the low mileage.

A full handbook pack including the Clio Sport supplement and new car sales brochure completes the history file along with two sets of original keys and the additional grey wallet containing the puncture repair kit and locking wheel nut.
