Mercedes-Benz SL500 (1982)

Reluctant sale of our beautiful late 82 previous SL Shop supplied 500SL We are the fourth owner and have covered minimal miles during our tenure, in fact the MOT trail shows the car has travelled around 7000 miles in the last 20 years!. Since we have owned "EDGY BOY" (see number plate) it has been stored in a Carcoon which has helped keep the car in exceptional condition. The Carcoon is included in the sale price, so please look at what these amazing things do. The mileage is shown as 109000, backed up by previous MOT's. The condition is good usable, it started and drove perfectly after being laid up for several months this weekend. It hasn't been driven in the wet during our ownership and everything appears to be in order, no obvious rust spots! The hard top is in excellent condition with the headliner in a similar condition too. Some of the electrics have never been tested during our ownership (clock, heated rear windscreen etc have remained disconnected) as the car has been predominantly dry stored, but everything on a with works! Bad bits - chrome lifting on bumper (2 sq ins) and original soft top needs TLC. I'm not a mechanic, hence why I bought the car, but the ownership experience has been great.
