All panels are straight and completely intact with no deterioration, with only light frontal stone chips and a tiny shallow ding to the nearside front wing worthy of mention. The beautifully made trim sections, chrome finishing’s and badges are pristine and the original Honeycomb Foil trim to the B and C-pillars is perfect. The imposing front grille and prominent Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star remind you of makers legacy. The original supplying Mercedes-Benz dealer number plates remain fitted. Truly representative of a one owner, garaged and cossetted example, this vehicle is far superior to the usual offerings and one for future preservation.

INTERIOR
Luxury and opulence are in total abundance with this highly specified machine. Factory optional Designo Nappa Leather in two tone Anthracite/Granite, (Code 251), is spotlessly clean and virtually perfect, reflective of the one owner pampered upkeep. The ergonomically designed seats are supremely comfortable, and the electric heating/cooling and memory functions operate seamlessly. All Birds-Eye Maple capping’s and other leather trim sections and switchgear are pristine, as is the Orion Grey headlining with no marks or sagging. The functions and controls operate exactly as they should including the large screen for the factory upgraded Audio 30 Navigation/TV/Telephone and BOSE music system. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The six-cylinder Mercedes inline Commonrail 320CDI engine of 3222cc displacement produces 194bhp at 4200rpm and an incredible maximum 470Nm torque to achieve a top speed of 141mph and 0-62 in just 8.8 seconds, very impressive for a large executive estate. The exceptionally clean engine bay remains exactly as Mercedes Benz intended and displays factory plates, stickers and panel stampings. The 5-speed automatic transmission with Speedtronic cruise control offers effortless cruising capabilities, perfectly matched to the powerful torque endowed engine.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Factory upgraded 17in five spoke style light alloy wheels with diamond finish are in excellent order with no kerb damage only very light spidering to the rear wheel bolt recesses. Matching Continental ContiSportContact 3 tyres were fitted in 2018 and are virtually unused. The anti-lock braking system with Brake Assist (BAS) offers hugely positive stopping power to install complete peace of mind.

HISTORY FILE
First registered on 28th September 2001 and supplied by Main Dealer Alan Day Mercedes-Benz of Mayfair, this example has covered just 56,355 miles from new with just one owner. The one and only keeper, Miss Rosaline Ganendra, specified an eye wateringly high specification as detailed in the factory options and has cherished this example for 18 years with strict garage storage when not in use. The Mercedes-Benz A5 document wallet holds the service book with factory build card and nine stamped entries, all Mercedes Main Dealer and marque specialist and in accordance with manufacturer servicing parameters.
