Go Back| Having started life as a Hooper Limousine, this car was re-bodied later in life, probably in the late forties or early fifties as a delightful ‘Woody’. It has been with one owner since the early seventies, and during that time has been the subject of major restoration work, which is well documented, and is believed to total something in excess of $100,000 US. It is apparent that some very high quality work has been carried out, particularly to the timber body, which is lovely. The engine runs nicely and sounds good. There is various work finishing work and assembly still to do, but all of the hard work is finished, and this will make an excellent example.
