Land Rover Series II/IIA (1969)

Land Rover Series IIa Lightweight 3.5 V8

This is a 3.5 V8(SD1 Rover Engine) Land Rover Series IIa Lightweight 57K on the clock, Ex military (so well looked after). The car is TAX EXEMPT with an MOT until May 2010, and relatively cheap to run. It is one of a thousand lightweights to have been produced. The car is in fantastic condition with no rust on the chassis, cross-members or the bulkhead. Other than the reconditioned engine (work completed 2 years ago, by a Land Rover Specialist), all parts are original and in good condition from the day it rolled off the factory floor. The car is painted in Military Green, and has a couple of dings, apart from that the exterior is in immaculate condition. Currently the car is stored as a soft top with a roll bar, but the sale includes a hard top roof with a Safari cover.


Service History:
The vehicle has been owned for over 20 years by a Land Rover specialist (who has featured in both Land Rover enthusiast magazines due to his skills and reputation for working with Land Rovers). I have plenty of documentation confirming authenticity of the vehicle and its career during the army

Exterior:
The Land rover is painted in original Army green, as this was once owned by the British Army.

Interior:
The front cab holds original exmoor trim when the car first built 40 years ago. The rear cab is lined with black hard wearing carpet material.
