EXTERIOR
Fast becoming a highly sought after modern classic hot hatchback, the Focus ST170 presented here has covered a remarkably low fully documented 39,969 miles from new. In totally standard form and finished in factory original Imperial Blue, (Code Q2), this is arguably the most sought-after colour and remains synonymous with fast Fords. The paint finish is incredible and virtually flawless owing to fastidious mature ownership and strict garaged storage. The racy exterior sports body-styling and trim sections and badges are as new. Originality seekers will be pleased to see factory stickers and labels in the door shuts as well as the Ford dealer number plates. The underside and wheel apertures are super clean and original. A prime example of a cosseted and unspoilt Focus ST170.

INTERIOR
Inside this sporting fast Ford are a pair of body-hugging partial leather sports front seats in Blue Waffle in Midnight combination, (Code AL), all in immaculate order. The entire cabin space, seats and trim can only be described as exceptional and it is very obvious that this is a very well cared for example. All functions and controls operate including the air conditioning and model 6006N stereo radio/6CD. Tailored floor mats have preserved the pristine carpet. An unmolested hot hatch Ford interior.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the Ford 2.0 litre Duratec engine, the power output is, as per the ST170 namesake, quoted as 170bhp at 7000rpm and 196Nm torque at 5500rpm. The maximum speed is 134mph while 0-60 is dispatched in just 8.2 seconds. The engine bay is spotless and displays factory labels, panels stamps and clear chassis number stamping as well as the often-perished parts component and headlamp stickers. The standard Durashift 6-speed manual transmission is wonderfully tight and precise, perfect for quick and enthusiastic changes!

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Unique 15 spoke ST design 17” alloy wheels are immaculate thanks to a light refurbishment with no curb damage and all Ford badged centre caps are as new. Matching premium Continental ContiSportContact tyres of size 215/45 R17 have masses of tread, two of which were fitted brand new in February 2020. The original space saver spare wheel is unused with coloured banding still within the tread and is housed in the pristine boot floor. The factory jack and wheel brace are present. Anti-lock brakes (ABS) with discs to all four wheels offer rapid stopping power for this performance hot hatch.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 20th September 2004 by Ford Main Dealers, English Ford of Poole, this prime example has covered a remarkable 39,969 miles and two owners from new. Incredibly the vehicle boasts full Ford Main Dealer service history by the supplying dealer and the service book is bursting with 20 stamped entries including periodic maintenance and body and paint check entries. The most recent service was carried out at 38,755 miles and in April 2017 at 39,349 miles the cambelt, water pump, tensioner and pulleys were changed at English Ford. Absolutely all work carried out is documented and recorded in the service book and every supporting main dealer invoice is in the huge history file. In 2009 and at 26,146 miles, the instrument cluster was replaced by Ford. This is fully documented with an entry in the service book and corresponding Ford Main Dealer invoice, and the odometer reading showing 13,823 miles to verify the mileage completely.

The Ford zip up document wallet houses the original handbook and full book pack as well as two sets of Ford keys and a sales brochure. Representing the next generation of collectable fast Fords, it is very difficult to fault this car.
