EXTERIOR
A low mileage Focus ST in standard unmolested form is a rare find amongst the majority which have fallen into the hands of modifiers and power-hungry tuners! This second-generation Focus ST has covered just 36,406 miles and is finished in factory original Moondust Silver, (Code 03), with contrasting charcoal Exterior styling pack 2 (side stripes). The paintwork displays a stunning uniform finish and it is extremely difficult find anything other than miniscule touched in marks. All factory panels are pin straight and the typically ‘Ford’ extroverted trim sections are pristine. Supplying Ford main dealer number plates remain fitted and all badges are intact and correct. Owned by a fastidious Ford enthusiast, who despite his ‘Granddad’ status, is a blue oval faithful through and through, his replacement car being a Focus ST3!

INTERIOR
Inside this Fast Ford are a pair of body-hugging Recaro Mondus sports seats swathed in two-tone Anthracite/Dark Flint, (Code A4). The Recaro logos are embossed and stitched into the upholstery which is in amazing preserved condition with virtually no wear and the seats are immensely supportive yet very comfortable. A throwback to the Ford Escort Mk2 RS2000 and RS Mexico Recaro seats. The ST Sports steering wheel, jet black headlining, submarine lighting, brushed aluminium gear knob and handbrake grip and racing pedals help to carry on the fast Ford tradition of injecting excitement into everyday family cars. All functions and controls are fully operational and exactly as Ford intended, and the air conditioning is ice cold. A truly cossetted example.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Fitted with the turbo-charged Ford 2.5 Duratec ST five-cylinder 20v unit with Variable Valve Timing, the power output achieved is 225bhp at 6000rpm and 320Nm torque at 4000rpm. The maximum speed is 152mph while 0-60 is dispatched in just 6.8 seconds! The engine bay is beautifully clean with factory plates, stickers and labels visible. The Ford Durashift 6-speed gearbox is magnificent to use with precise and snick short throw changes and a superb top gear cruising ability. Altogether a phenomenal performing car and hugely entertaining driving experience.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The unique 8 x 18in ST five-spoke rims with correct centre caps are pristine with no kerb damage. Matching branded 225/40 ZR18 tyres have masses of tread and display excellent rubber condition. The braking system with ABS and electronic brake-force distribution incorporates discs all round and proves sure footed stopping power to match the potency of the performance.

HISTORY FILE
Registered new on the 30th October 2007 by Ford Main Dealers, Arnold Clark Ltd of Shiremoor, this example has covered just 36,406 miles from new. The previous owner and devoted Ford fan, Mr David Eyre, has owned a long line of fast Fords and his replacement for this car is a Focus ST3 to be used for leisure whilst his wifes Fiesta performs duties such as long journeys to visit the Grandchildren!

All original handbooks, guides and supplements are contained within the Ford document wallet and there are eight stamped entries in the service book, the last being July 2019 at 35,785 miles. In 2015 and at 28,117 miles, the timing belt, tensioner, idler, water pump and auxiliary drive belts were all replaced with an entry in the service book and corresponding invoice to support. Two Ford remote keys are present along with an original Focus range sales brochure. A file of receipts and Ford invoices detail servicing and maintenance work and every MOT certificate from the very first in 2010 has been kept to further verify the low mileage. Look no further for a cherished, unmolested and low mileage Focus ST225, presented and performing exactly as Ford intended.
