Ferrari Mondial (1982)

Finished in its original Rossa Corsa (red) over Beige interior, this car represents the first year for the Mondial. As a well cared for and serviced low mileage Mondial this car offers excellent value for money and is certainly the ideal entry level Ferrari.

Purchased from the 1st owner in 1994, then with 6,000 miles, this car spent the first part of its life in Southern California and Arizona before moving to Connecticut and Pennsylvania. There the second owner has currently owned the car for 17 years contributing to a total of just over 26,000 miles on the clock. Always kept in climate controlled storage this car reflects careful ownership. The car has been driven regularly, averaging 1,250 miles per year. With that it has also received the recommended services, and completed only by Ferrari Certified Technicians. Detailed service history including a 30K mile major are available for review by any seriously interested party.

Condition wise this car reflects that of a nice driver quality example that has been enjoyed over the years. Cosmetically the paint is shiny throughout and all metal appears to be very straight with no noticeable issues. The nose section appears to have some paintwork due to a prior scratch. All door, hood, and trunk gaps are excellent with no indications of previous accidents. There are a few very minor blemishes, but nothing of major concern. All rubber molding and trim is excellent, with the exception of the rear bumper which has the common lifting issue, again very minor. The glass has been slightly tinted and makes for an excellent look; otherwise all glass is in excellent condition and is crack/fade free. The wheels are correct 16” Ferrari wheels, but from a later Mondial T, wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1’s with approximately. 75% tread remaining. The interior shows very well and is clean and tidy throughout with only minor wear on the driver seat. Otherwise no other known blemishes. Headliner is in excellent condition as is the dash with no pulling or other issues. All electric switches, lights, window regulators, instruments etc… are all in perfect working order. The interior also has an integrated keyless entry, and a aftermarket stereo system which has been tastefully added to the car.

Mechanically this car has seen superb upkeep. Recent preventative maintenance includes: window regulator motors, water pump, switches, clutch, battery, alternator, radiator hoses, timing belts, brake master cylinder etc… all fully documented. The car has also had the air-pump delete as most have, and features a Tubi cat-back exhaust.

Overall this is a very well cared for impressive 82 Mondial that runs, drives, handles, and stops as if it were new. This is an excellent opportunity for any collector, enthusiast, or first time Ferrari buyer to enjoy all that Ferrari has to offer in an entry level example.
