She will mark her 50th Birthday on 24th May having been built at Osnabrueck and then shipped to LA on May 26th 1965.
She had the same owner in America until 1994 when she was imported to the UK and refurbished.
Her second owners had her in the Liverpool area for 10 years.
At some point in her life her colour had been changed.
Since I have owned the car it has gone through a complete strip down and rebuild,I have changed her back to her Manila Yellow. The car has been garaged throughout its time in the UK.
The engine is not the original however it is of the period and believe it has been with this car during its’ time in USA.
It has had a full rebuild by Volks Auto’s in Newport Pagnell with all the major parts being replaced.
She has done under 150 miles since the rebuild, looks and runs beautifully.
