Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type-1 (1966)
VW Karmann Ghia, 1966 in Antelope Beige. It has 12 months MOT (with no advisories). It was restored by the Karmann Ghia Company around 8 years ago, when it was converted to RHD, 1800cc engine with twin carbs fitted and also lowered with a narrow front beam and dropped spindles. The interior was retrimmed and a new Mohair brown roof fitted. I have owned it for 10 years and have since returned it to standard ride height with a new front beam, standard wheels, spindles, new hubs, disks etc. It also as a recently new alternator, tyres, fuel pump and several other bits & pieces.
The car runs very well. There are a few blemishes on the paintwork and the wiring is the usual rats nest but otherwise an amazing looking car. We would recommend the new buyer joins the Karmann Ghia Owners Club as there a great social scene and invaluable technical support.
