Triumph Herald 13/60 (1967)

An absolute must for Last of the Summer Wine fans, in red with black interior, just like the one driven by Edie and maintained by Wesley Pegden. This particular example had over £5,000 spent on it in 2007 with many new mechanical parts, considerable bodywork and a re-spray. Mechanically this car seems very good, with upgrades to many parts, stainless steel exhaust, recon gearbox, overhauled carb, new alternator, front spax shocks, polybush suspension bushes, braided brake hoses, re-ground crank, inertia seat belts, new radiator, hood etc etc. The result is a lovely drive, better than could be expected from a 'normal' 13/60 Herald. Body seems very solid underneath but there are some signs of corrosion on the doors, 6 years after the restoration. As often with Heralds, panel alignment could be improved but overall this is a very pretty car, ready to be driven and enjoyed. Comes with huge list of parts replaced, many photos of restoration and a manual.
