SALE AGREED An excellent, high quality conversion, carried out about five years ago, carefully replicating the original, well known H. J. Mulliner ‘adaptation’ design. We have a large amount of photos showing a thorough process of restoration & conversion and since completion the car has covered just a small mileage. The Tudor grey and red paintwork, the chrome, the upholstery, woodwork, carpets and hood (fully lined) are all fresh and superb, and the car really does look very impressive, being virtually indistinguishable from an original. Mechanically too, it is all in very good order, having been fully attended to as part of the restoration process. The engine, braking system, suspension, etc, have all been overhauled and the car runs and performs very nicely on the road. The Registration number, RRL 1, belongs to the previous owner and is not included, but is available by separate negotiation. Also available are 1 RRL and 3RRL. However, if all goes to plan, we will be having the registration that the car started life with, 200 MMS, re-allocated, in itself an attractive number, and this will be included as part of the sale. A lovely car throughout, cosmetically and mechanically, ready to use and enjoy.

Chassis No. SFU173 Reg. No. T B A

Snippets: Norwich - Rolls-Royce & Tractor Dealers
SFU173 had two involvements with tractor dealers in Norwich – the first time being with William H King Ltd a main dealer for Fordson tractors, their clients included Crouch (Dehydrators) Ltd of Stoke Ferry who in 1955 took delivery of 21 Fordson Major tractors for their Stoke Ferry dehydrating plant. William King’s premises consisted of an old chapel as their showroom with a workshop in nearby Southgate Street. In 1967 SFU173 is shown a being with William George Colman of Mann Egerton in Kings Lynn. The partnership of Mann Egerton started in 1900 with Gerard Mann & Charles Egerton however within a few years the pair fell out leaving Gerard Mann to trade on his own. Mann Egerton’s business interest were diverse ranging from electrical goods, car sales, coach-building, aircraft construction, military vehicles, school furniture & tractors!
