Totally restored and complete with finishing needed.

Manufactured on April 15th 1953, Chassis # 673896 was sold new out of Max Hoffman as a Battleship Grey with Red/Biscuit interior. It has been confirmed that the newly rebuilt (by XK's Unlimited) head and the accompanying original short block are numbers matching as per the Heritage Certificate. Today it does however have a 3.4L Block (also rebuilt by XK's Unlimited) currently installed. Overall this is a Excellent driver restoration of a very rust free car. Started a little over a year ago. It was found in Ohio with the same owner for many years. Taken home, all of the mechanicals, body and paint are completed. It still requires an interior and all of the minor bits and pieces to be installed to finalize the car. It runs and drives very well, very fast. The paint job was done very well, just under concours level. The mechanicals have all been sorted and the car shows good oil pressure and holds good temperature. The Dark BRG with Matching wheels is most fitting, and overall the car is very straight with good gaps (for a 120). Nearly every component necessary is included in the sale to finish the car. There will of course be little odds and ends required to finish it off. Our initial assessment is that it will need an interior (as we prefer a darker color) and the gauges refurbished to be consistent with what will be the finished product. The quality of the work so far is good, and the car will be very nice when finished. Videos of it running and driving are available as well.
