Ford Escort RS1600i (1970)

1970 4 door mk1 escort . The car spent most of its life in the sunny island of malta untill it was exported back to the uk . It has now been fully british registered and was given age related plates . The car is tax exempt and moted untill october 2017. The car is fitted with a 1600 gt engine twin chock weber and new air filter. The car has been resprayed in the past in a very eyecatching met blue and stands out were ever it goes it has mexico wings quarter bumpers and minilight style wheels fitted . The car has drum brakes all round which could be upgraded to discs it has a servo unit fitted which helps. The car had a few tyres a track rod end and a few small jobs for mot. i use the car regularly and is good fun there is room for improvement on the interior as it is scruffy but complete . The rear passenger window does not work as the reguator is broken and needs to be replaced . The car has new h4 headlamps also fitted .the car has had welding in the past ie front floor pans have been replaced both sills and a few plates here and there . the car is not mint brand new or concourse it is a usable 46 year old car with character please remember this. everything works on car and can be used straight away.
