Up for sale is my beloved Audi UR Quattro 20v Turbo. Story behind this car is that I bought it in 2006 from TC Harrison Group in Sheffield and on my way down the M1 motorway to London noticed that the engine was overheating so I took regular pit stops to allow the engine to cool down and topping up with water before continuing each time with my journey. Approximately 60 miles out from my final destination the head gasket got the better of my tactics and I was left stranded on the M1. It was at this point that I decided that I would modify\upgrqde the car and set about the task. After the engine was rebuilt I sent it to a company known as Quattronics - AKA Cory Jones. I’m sure a lot of Quattro people will know plenty about this now dissolved company and the man behind it. To cut a long story short, I was one of the lucky ones to get my car back before it was dismantled. Following this experience I then sent it to the very honourable and great Pete Berry in Sussex who undertook all the work I required in modifying the car. Upon completion of the work, I then had some bodywork and full respray undertaken back in London with a friend who runs his own garage. All repairs and service since then have been undertaken by Pete Berry.
The reason I’ve decided to sell is because earlier in the year when I took the car out for a drive I noticed that it was stuttering and there was a strong smell of petrol in the cabin. I immediately called Pete Berry and we was unable to take the car in as he was trying to clear a back log of cars that he was working on. I then took it to Paul Blake in Harrow who specialises in high performance and modified cars and he diagnosed the problem as being a faulty ECU. I again Spoke with Pete Berry and unfortunately he was just out of hospital recovering due to an illness and he couldn’t give me a clear timeline when he would be back at work. So after some some serious deliberation within, I’ve decided to sell. This is a car that requires lots of care, which I’ve given unconditionally and never neglected. It also needs to be driven regularly which unfortunately I have not done and regret that I did not get the enjoyment and satisfaction that I should have from such a beautiful car. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that a Quattro can give you more problems by not being driven than being driven regularly. Anyway it is what it is as they say and its time to say goodbye and give someone else the opportunity to enjoy all the great pleasures this amazing car has to offer.

This may not be a car for the purist, it’s highly modified. On the other hand, it may well be what you’ve been looking for.

It has to be noted that sourcing all parts and having all the work done took well over 12 months.

Here are some of the modifications.

- Stage 2 modification\remap with uprated injectors
- Complete Engine rebuild with upgraded internals such as pistons, rods and bearings.
- Uprated Manifold
- Uprated Intercooler
- Uprated Turbo
- Miltek Stainless Steel Exhaust
- Sport Short Gearshift
- Porsche Front Brakes
- Sport Quattro Bonnet
- Custom 16” wheels
- New stereo and speaker system installed.
- Electric Aerial
- Immobiliser & Alarm
- Key Central Locking
- All new ancillary parts including Water Pump, Radiator, Starter Motor, Oil Cooler
- Many Other Minor Alterations & Parts

* Apart from the Over-fueling issue, the battery is not holding charge & the central locking on passenger side is not engaging.
* There are a few minor scuffs on paintwork, and interior will need a good professional valet.
* All tyres are in perfect condition with lots of milage left and wheels are in very good condition.

* Current milage is 7.795 KM 4.843 Miles (less than 5000 miles)

I have spent a small fortune on this car as you can appreciate by the above specs not to mention the initial purchase cost. Receipts galore await your reading pleasure! Like all classics, this car will require a great deal of financial input throughout its life but will repay many times over with pleasure and least not forget of course that the Quattro is a car that is accruing in value on a yearly basis and is a serious investment that will likely be worth a huge sum in years to come.

With a little investment now, this car can be up and running and roaming the streets with great intent and strut in no time at all and could likely be the best investment you ever made.

Open to sensible offers.
