Audi Coupe GT5S. Very rare 1982 RHD example of the original 5 cylinder 1921cc Quad Headlight Audi Coupe in Mars Red / Medium Red (G6) exterior and Black Tweed (KC) interior and option FF Audi Quattro roundels on doors.

Only 82k miles and 4 previous owners.

This is one of the first (maybe the first?) of ~200 imported to UK I believe. Personal import from Germany by first owner with reg LFS ...X, moved to private plate GBZ.... when purchased in 1991. Unmodified apart from Kenwood removable ICE.

Often mistaken as a MK1 Quattro due to Quad Headlights, Roundels and it's distictive 5cyl growl.

Complete with FF: 5 speed manual gearbox, Pierburg Carburettor, digital idle control, alloys (five), elec windows, C/L, elec aerial, power steering, headlight wash, four speaker F/R stereo. Full compliment of working FF VDO instruments: speed, rpm, clock, fuel & economy gauges with volts, oil temp & oil press gauges in lower centre console. Mechanicly sound with no oil/fuel/coolant leaks.

Interior is very clean, no broken switches or rips/tears appart from bolsters/base on driver's seat, even the illuminated vanity mirror & boot lights work.

For sale as restoration project (or for spares) inc some parts inc New: rear box, air & oil filters, secondary drive belt.

Selling as drive is full and need space for new purchase parked on friend's drive.

Practical Classics valuation: Condition 1 £1950 C2 £800 C3 £350. I would rate car as Condition 1 interior, but Condition 3 exterior due to inevitable rust and car park damage to boot lid.

Offers for car inc plate in the region of Condition 3 value, but all reasonable offers considered as I want this rare car to survive (I have been offered £200 as scrap & plate is worth ~£175).
