VW Transporter (Microbus Deluxe) Type 2 (T2) model in its original condition and a certificate of originality from Stiftung AutoMuseum Volkswagen. 2.0L engine, independent car heater, VW radio "Emden", steel sliding roof. Exterior paint is original - oceanic blue with pastel white and the upholstery material is the original canyon brown "Velour". Built in 1976 in Hanover, Germany. There is only one batch in the history and lifetime of VW with oceanic blue and it is the first batch to have the 2.0L 70 metric horse power, air-cooled engine. The Type 4 engine (1.7-2L) Volkswagen version was also used on the Porsche 914.The Deluxe Microbus is a step above the standard Micro. The Deluxe, however, includes such refinements as a thick rubberised steering wheel, armrests on the doorcards which also duct heat from the front of the van into the rear passenger compartment through outlets in the back of the bulkhead/ seat boxes, thick chrome trim under the windows, and chromed bumpers.
