Tornado Talisman (1998)
Thank you for looking at my 2.0 litre MR2 sale. She is Goodwood green in colour and still looks pretty good for a 20 year old car. There are marks on her as you'd expect at this age but nothing that would not come out with a good polish, the main thing is the sills are good not rotten which most are. It’s a very reliable car and has never let me down in the 4 years I have owned it, I still use the vehicle currently for my daily commute to work. Vehicle has electric windows, electric mirrors, sunroof so no nasty water leaks like on the targa roof. The electric aerial for the radio works, it does have a CD player but I have disconnected this so my ipod can work through the system, however would be very easy to remove and reconnect the CD player if you wish. Has the standard wheels, I had new tyres all round last year. Cambelt, water pump and clutch were changed 2 years ago so loads of life left in them yet. Brakes were replaced last year so you won’t have to worry about them for a while either and also the passenger side wheel bearing was replaced at the same time as it was worn. Only other things I have changed are the shocks and springs all round and I fitted a rev 5 spoiler (these go on ebay for around 250-300). Had to have the spoiler sprayed in Goodwood green as it original came from a red MR2. Also the exhaust was corroded so I fitted a stainless steel blue flame exhaust and the CAT was replaced at the same time. I only do around 4,000 miles a year (you can check this if you wish on the MOT checker at .gov.uk). Fully working pop up headlights. 2 keys/remotes. Reason for selling is that I am moving house and need the extra cash. When polished it looks great. Drives great, reliable, still turns heads and rapidly becoming a classic. All the electrics work, no water leaks, UK spec vehicle. MOT expires middle of Feb but I will get the vehicle MOTd.
