All appears to be quite good mechanically having driven it at some length, it starts instantly and has good oil pressure, in fact the engine appears to sound really quite healthy, and initially failed on the handbrake efficiency. It has had a recent set of four new tyres. I am pretty sure it has a 1600 cylinder head fitted, this I am told was not an uncommon thing to do years ago as it gave the car a little more power over the 1500, however the block looks like it is the original 1500. The brakes and clutch appear to operate as they should and there does not seem to be any nasty noises coming from the gearbox or axle.

The interior is predominantly original. The black leather seats are in really nice original condition and with a good leather feeding and re colour will be good to use again. The dash instruments and switches all seem to be in place with the exception of the lights switch which is hanging under the dash although I think most of the electrics do seem to work ok. It will need a new set of carpets, they are a bit thread bare in places, and perhaps the interior trim panels re covering. It does have weather equipment in the form of a hood and frame, the hood is actually in not bad condition and would clean up good enough to use again, and the frame will want the usual tightening of pivot points and re painting. There are also a pair of side screens although they could do with refurbishing.
