Mercedes 420SL R107 V8 Automatic in Light Metallic Green, first registered 9th October 1986.
It is an original right hand drive UK supplied car.
It has currently covered 167,100 miles and is MOT’d until 22nd July 2017.
It has the normal standard features like Central Locking, ABS, Power Steering as well a Remote Alarm (that also operates the Central Locking), Bluetooth for your Mobile Phone and a Nardi Wooden Steering Wheel.
It comes with both hard and soft top – the soft top roof being brand new.
It has the most incredible service history with receipt.

This is an excellent example of a classic that is only going to increase in value over the coming years, mechanically it is superb and runs like a dream. It also features the original medical pack, fire extinguisher and Mercedes car mats which all help add to the overall nostalgia of owning such a car.
There are obvious signs of wear and tear, after all it is 30 years old. There is some bubbling and rusting to the front wings and rear arches, there are small surface scratches on the other panels of the car (though nothing major). I’m not talking falling apart rusting, but there are areas that would want attention if you wanted a show car. I estimate that it would cost no more than £1,000 to bring this car up to a show standard (on the body work).
