With McLaren close to the front in F1 it is completely appropriate to commemorate itsillustrious history as a leading supplier ofracing machines since 1966. We aretherefore proud to offer the following iconic carThe M10B,based onits predecessorthe M10A, was lighter andallowed theinstallation of a Dry sump system. Only 21 M10B’s were built and went on to win 4Internationalchampionships between 1970 and 1974Car 400-16 was raced in the1971 and 1972South African National championship byPaddy Driver.In 1972 the carcrashed at Killarney, was rebuilt and is subsequentlyknown as chassis 400-16A.It resurfaced in the early nineties when it was completely restored by Simon Hadfieldand raced by Sean Mooney inHSCC events.In 2001 the car was brought back to itsoriginalSouth African livery and raced againin HSCC before moving to an important Belgian collection.The car is fully documented and has an older HTPspecifying its completeprovenance.
