Ford Escort RS (1974)

Ford escort mk1 in excellent condition. This car came from sunny Portugal. It's never seen salted roads or bad weather. The car is near immaculate it has had a light restoration with many new mechanical parts but it's never been a rust bucket like most UK escorts. All panels look original it has no rust at all. The interior is perfect. The car drives great. I drove it 1600 miles from near Lisbon in Portugal up through Spain onto france and home to wales.This car will make an ideal show car as it is, or you could convert to right hand drive?? In my opinion this car is to good for motor sport. I had planned to make a twin cam rep. See the last picture for the engine I was going to fit. The engine is not included in this auction. I have listed it separately please see my other items. The car comes with a UK mot. I had planned to register it but decided not to so the new owner could be the first UK registered keeper. Registration is a simple process. The Portuguese documents along with the UK mot a v55 form and a cheque for £55 needs to be sent to the dvla. That's it. Then with in 6 weeks you will receive a UK v5. Road tax is free as this is a historic vehicle. I welcome any inspection.
