Austin 20 HP (1933)
Remarkably, this car had been with just two owners (father & son) from new until 2000, and just one since! Apparently, the car was used during the war for frequent VIP transport, and kept in use for many years by the father & son, before eventually being laid up for a good while, prior to being rescued and renovated by the owner of the last 18 years, who spent a great deal on restoration including a full engine overhaul, newly made front wings, bonnet, scuttle, etc, all very nicely done. The work also included a full re-paint and re-upholstery. Not a perfect car, but a good one, and rather rare! Complete with an old buff logbook from 1953 and various MoT certificates and other papers in the file.
