Aston Martin V8 (1986)
This final and most desirable version of the V8 Saloon, was first seen at the New York Motor Show on 26th January 1986. Benefiting from rolling production improvements enjoyed by its predecessor such as modified air conditioning and the adoption of 8” BBS allow road wheels, the Oscar India series V now fed the 585 series V8 engine (revised in 1985 to included improved piston and cam profiles) by Weber-Marelli fuel injection delivering 305 B.H.P in a more refined and precise manner.
To many, this final evocation of the classic V8 Aston Martin, is the finest and represents the choice of many who would have a classic car for everyday use.
With the constant maintenance it has received throughout its life, the car has never been allowed to deteriorate in any operational sense – every fault and remedial mechanical requirement has been attended to promptly and properly.
It offers any enthusiast an opportunity to own one of the best V8’s on the market today.
