Aston Martin DB7 (2002)
Supplied to the first owner, Max Willoughby of Northallerton by Reg Vardy in March 2002, and it was Reg Vardy who serviced the car throughout Mr Willoughby’s ownership. There is little detail of the next keeper apart from a change of registration number to V 12 RAP and the continuation of the maintenance of the car but with HWM and Guy Salmon before it moved to the Cotswolds. And the car remained there until purchased by Ray Duly in Staffordshire in 2010. Active in the AMOC, Ray and his wife Val enjoyed the Aston to the full with tours of Ireland in June 2010 and the AMOC 75th Anniversary Northern Tour in September of the same year. Sadly Ray passed on recently and Val is keen for the car to find a new owner who will cherish the car and what it represents..
Beautifully presented, thoroughly maintained, it provides a great starting point for Aston Martin ownership. To borrow a phrase from June 2012’s Classic & Sportscar Magazine “Whichever way you slice it, that’s not a lot to put a DB Aston in your garage.”
