The S2 Bentley Continental was introduced in 1959 and featured numerous upgrades to provide for better drivability and comfort. At the heart of the upgraded design was Rolls-Royce and Bentley's now infamous L-series V8 displacing 6.2 liters and offering greatly improved performance. Power steering now came standard and a new dashboard and steering wheel design was implemented. In total, 1,920 S2 Continental chassis were built and most were fitted with standard factory bodywork, however, a small number had coach-built bodies from the likes of Park Ward, Hooper, James Young, and H. J. Mulliner & Co.

The example on offer here is a 1961 Bentley S2 Continental bodied by H.J. Mulliner, chassis number BC39BY and engine number B38BC. It is 1 of 76 right-hand drive examples produced and is finished in a fantastically British two-tone green exterior with yellow pinstriping and a light tan interior. Early history on the car is unknown but it currently wears a nice older restoration that still presents very well. It has been well maintained and is in excellent mechanical condition. The odometer currently shows 96,832 miles which is believed to be the correct original mileage. As it sits today, the car makes for the ideal candidate for utilizing in vintage driving events or showing at classic events.
