Jaguar XJS V12 6.0 Litre

First registered on 20th August 1993 (L Reg) this XJS 6 Litre V12 Convertible was, according to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate which accompanies the car supplied new by Appleyards of Harrogate. At ten years old in July 2003 we supplied this lovely example to is most recent keeper and now some fifteen years later we are delighted to have it gracing our showrooms once again. Finished in superb Solent Blue Paintwork with Magnolia Hide this car has been much cherished.

In May 1992 The XV12's capacity was enlarged to 6.0 Litres producing 304 bhp. At the same time the car benefited from a revision to the rear brakes; they were now fitted with outboard rear disc brakes, instead of the more complicated inboard items on previous models. With the introduction of the 6.0-litre V12, the transmission was also updated to a GM 4L80E with a fourth-gear overdrive.

A very comprehensive record file accompanies this car; this includes a photographic record of a suspension overhaul in 2014 by KWE Engineering. In all a very well maintained and excellent example of what is probably the rarest of the regular production XJS cars and becoming very sought after. The last XJS 6 Litre Convertible we had was over 18 months ago and it sold within a week, so we expect interest to be strong and we therefore urge early expressions of interest.
