Jaguar XJS

First registered March 1991 (H Reg) this XJS V12 Convertible has recorded just 36,000 miles from new. Given the age of the car at over 25 years it is impossible for us to warrant this, but the documentation available to us and the written statement from the original owners family would suggest that this is absolutely correct. when now it was acquired directly from Jaguar cars, (who would appear to have already registered this car) at a cost of some £50,000. This pristine example was then owned by the first keeper's company, then at retirement the first keeper himself and subsequently his daughter until August 2017.

Finished in Claret with Magnolia Leather piped Claret and with Burgundy carpets this beautiful XJS is an example the justifies all of the superlatives that get bandied around. Yes, it is stunning and its condition is totally commensurate with the low recorded mileage.

On file there are numerous invoices for maintenance that has been carried out by knowledgeable people, old MoT's etc.

The XJS Convertible is coming into it's own as a Classic Car that combines effortless performance and poise. In our opinion this car could easily not be overshadowed by anything costing five times as much at a Classic Car event or even a racy marina on the Cote D'Azur.

This is a car to treasure and keep for the grandchildren; always assuming that by then driving a v12 engined petrol car is not a capital offence!
