First registered April 1978 (S Reg) this VW Transporter was converted as new by Devon the same year. Devon is one of the oldest names in camper vans, the company being established in 1956 at Sidmouth in Devon converting Type 2 VW's.

Devon is still a family owned business and has been under its current ownership for the last 26 years. From the beginning Devon has built up an enviable reputation for design, quality and value for money and unlike many converters Devon build on range of manufacturers panel vans including Fiat, Volkswagen and Mercedes and Ford.

Kitchen and is made by Vanwurks and comprises: a Two Ring Burner with sink, 2 x 10ltr Fresh Water Tanks, 1 x Propane Gas Dumpy, 3-way Fridge (running on 12v, mains & gas), Table, Mains Hook-up and Fuse Board, 2 x Cupboards, Cutlery Drawer, Wardrobe and Overhead storage. Auxiliary Propex Petrol and Mains Heater with thermostat control. The three seats in the rear have 3-point seat belts. A double rock and roll bed and 2 x Overhead Pull-out bunks. Equipped with a Leisure Battery, Mains Board with Trip switches.

In 2010 the 1.8 Litre engine was rebuilt with components from Cool Air Cool Air with new,
Performance Cylinder Heads Pistons, Con Rods and Valves and twin Weber carbs

The original steel wheels, and bumpers are powder coated white.
