Aston Martin DB7

First registered December 1996 (P Reg) this DB7 i6 Volante is a Series 2 1997 model which was introduced in July 1996 with twin air bags, and the more reliable alarm system. Presented in Cleveland Red with Red Hood and Magnolia Hide piped Red, Red Carpets and Red Top Roll and top-part Door Cards. This is an exceptionally good looking example that has been in a collection of six similar cars and for all intents and purposes off the road since 2009.

The DB7 i6 Volante had a production run of just 879 cars in both left and right hand drive variants and consequently this is quite a rare car. Powered by an All-alloy, twin overhead camshaft, 24 valve, 3,239 cc straight six cylinder with Single Eaton M90 Roots supercharger and in this case a switchable GM 4L80E four speed automatic gearbox; performance statistics published at the time claimed a top speed of 155 mph and 0-60 mph in 6.6 seconds.

From sale in 1996 to 2009 there are 15 stamps recorded in the Service History all with Aston Martin Main Dealers, the last at 41,000 miles. We have inspected the car and given it a full re-commissioning service. The current MOT which is Advisory free expires in September 2018. Additionally, a new hood stowage cover is being manufactured and will be supplied with the car.

In our opinion, these splendid and easy to own cars are undervalued at the moment and should be bought now for enjoyment, style and we believe long term appreciation.
