This vehicle is offered on behalf of a long standing customer, who reluctantly is selling due to an ever increasing family ! He purchased it from one of only four previous keepers.
It has been the subject of a major restoration in 2002 which took 2 years to complete, and which is fully documented by photographs.
The Restoration was comprehensive and I note a brief summary below -
Exterior
Full Respray, all rotten metal removed and replaced. new Sills, Jacking Points, Bottom Of Doors, Boot Lid etc.
New Headlights Indicators and Sidelights along with a Stainless Steel Exhaust System.
The Braking System has been renewed along with the Shock Absorbers.
Professionally resprayed to original colour.
New Door Seals and Windows.
New Wheels and Tryes.
Interior
Completely professionally retrimmed, new carpets, leather, Door Panels. Walnut renovated. All locks refurbished.
Engine and Mechanicals
Cylinder head professionally overhauled and converted to unleaded by WATJAG Ltd. Reconditioned radiater, new Dynamo and Regulator Box, Electric Fan Fitted, New Battery and Fuel Pump, Distributor Cap etc etc . A full list is available if rquired.
The car has been rustproffed
1960's Hybrid Radio fitted with Automatic Tuning.
It still has the Original Toolbox.
I hope the extent of the restoration is portrayed by the number of items renewed !
