Chevrolet Corvette C3

Vehicle Price: US$ 27,999
Advert Reference Number: 13434

This little red corvette was one of the first 140 C3 corvettes built. It features a lot of unusual options, as it was more than likely used as a dealer show car when released.

Numbers matching, 13,700 miles on dash, 327/350Hp motor, 4 speed manual transmission, black interior, rally wheels, telescopic steering column, power windows, power steering, power brakes, speed warning indicator, Transistor ignition system, HEI ignition with tach drive, AM/FM/Cassette, wooden steering wheel, black convertible top, and much more.

This corvette has had over $4,500 worth of work done to it in the last 3 years and 400 miles by the previous owners. They replaced the proportion valve, master cylinder, wiper motor, upper and lower control arm bushings, sway bar links, horns, spindles, rear wheel bearings, spark plugs, spring bushings, lower ball joints, rebuilt Holley carb, and much more.

We changed the oil and filter and checked and lubed the chassis.

This corvette seems to runs and drive nice with plenty of power from the original engine. It's going to make someone a fun vette to cruise around in.

1968 was the first year for the C3 body style, and also brought about a new interior design and removable T-tops. GM also introduced the pop-up headlights and pop-up wiper door in this year. 1968 was the highest production year for the Stingray convertible with 18,630 total production. GM only produced 9,440 with the 327/350hp engine, 3,453 with speed warning, 5,457 with transistor ignition system, 7,065 with power windows, and 6,477 with telescopic steering column out of 28,566 total production in this year.
