A very sound example of a desirable left hand drive Silver Cloud with power steering and specified new with ‘Sundym’ glass throughout. The car was delivered new to Florida, and has only just returned to the UK, explaining the excellent structural condition, having escaped the ravages of cold winters and salty roads. The chassis, underside and coachwork are all particularly good. Very nicely preserved, correct in all ways, and with one of the loveliest, undisturbed, original interiors that we have seen. The leather is soft, nicely mature and just gorgeous. Woodwork, carpets, headlining are all also lovely. Offered UK registered, making the car easy to register, VAT free in any EEC country.

Snippets: Mr. McGeary’s Motors
The 1st owner of LSFE201 was John H McGeary Jr (1914/1992) a wealthy property developer, golfer, philanthropist and keen motorist. In addition to LSFE201 he owned 124MY (PII Continental ordered by Sir E K Nuttal), 3CP18 (the only PIII Henley Roadster) & a 1958 Ferrari 250GT Cabriolet (1 of 36 such cars produced). In 1977 McGeary was described by the Boca Paton News as “white-haired, blue-eyed Irishman who likes to kid around about Irish Catholics”. In 1976 John McGeary donated his 1927 Swallow (OX-5 N4028) open-cockpit biplane where after restoration work it took to the skies in 2004 and today flies at special events, John McGeary also donated his 1933 Aeronca C-2-N Deluxe Scout – this was 1 of 4 airplanes constructed.
