Triumph Spitfire 1971 MkIV 1300cc in dark blue with black interior. I bought this car six months ago from a private collection to recapture my youth - but at 6' 3" I just can't drive it comfortably, hence this listing! (I must have been more flexible at 17 than I am now...)
It's finished in in dark blue with a black interior. The good bits? It runs very well and is very tidy for its age with very straight panels (I forgot the shut the boot properly for the pictures - duh!). It's clearly had a lot spent on it in 2005/06 (receipts available) to bring it up to the condition that it's in now although there is the odd bit that could do with some minor attention to bring it up to show standard (driver's seat has one small split, as does the top of the dashboard, the front and rear bumper could do with re-chroming, the clutch centre bearing whines a little, and one of the perspex rear windows on the hood has a crack in it). It has a stainless steel exhaust, replica Minilite wheels (bought in 2006 and in excellent condition) with four good tyres, and K&N air filters. I've recently overhauled the cylinder head and she is running well. Comes with MOT, road tax, spare keys, some history and V5 in my name.
