Since 2008, this wonderful example of a 1940s saloon has undergone a substantial amount of work to bring it up to the high standard that it is in today.
The body has been professionally repaired with new metal where necessary and then fully refinished to a high standard. The brightwork has been re-chromed at considerable expense and a new set of correct tyres fitted.
The interior has been fitted with a new headlining and custom made new carpets while the seats have been professionally recovered in original style vinyl. The history file contains numerous invoices detailing the expenditure.
A set of indicators has been carefully fitted to brackets on the bumpers in order to improve the safety while driving whilst still maintaining the originality of the car as they could be removed if required. The original semaphores are in good working order.
