The car has been immaculately serviced and well looked after its entire life. Unfortunately as with many American cars, the owner never saw a need to keep any servicing record or receipts. The car is however in stunning mechanical condition which will be obvious to anyone who knows what to look for. I've driven the car from South Dakota to California without a hiccup, and it starts and runs fine in our cold winter climate!
Bad points:
- Central locking is no longer working.
- A few scuffs and scratches as expected of a 27 year old car.
- Head lining starting to sag above drivers seat (very slight)
- One cigarette burn in seat
Original lady owner had the car since new, and gave it to her niece for two years, before I purchased it at Ford McKey in Rapid City, South Dakota. It was then shipped across in August 2011 from California to Southampton, when I collected the car and had it MOT'd and registered on UK plates. Driving through America I was complimented several times at gas stations and motels at how good condition the car was, and how you just don't see any of these around any more. This is one of the last of the LTD Crown Victoria's in this condition, and without a doubt the best example available in the UK.
