Daimler Double Six

The Series III XJ saloon did, in 4.2 form, cease production in early 1987 but the V12 version would remain in production for another 6 years. The most desirable of the V12 cars was the Daimler Double Six, which as the most expensive, offered the greatest level of luxury and exclusivity.

Offered here is a 1988 example of the Double Six, which is complete with an impressive documented service history and the huge benefit of an expensive LPG conversion which gives nearly half price fuel costs.

Finished in factory black with Saville grey interior, the car has the usual options associated with the model and a rare sliding sunroof. It is offered complete with all original booklets, a comprehensive file of bills, invoices, old MOT's, tax discs, a stamped service booklet and a DVD showing the car in the production.

With 87,000 miles recorded from new, the car has an MOT for one year and is taxed to the end of December 2011.
