Triumph TR6
Having just inherited this lovely classic car, and having no experience nor knowledge of such a classic, we have decided the best thing for this car is to find it new owners. Hopefully someone who can appreciate the car for what it truly is, and can the time and space to maintain the fantastic condition this car is in.
As mentioned I know very little about these cars but I'll tell you what I do know. Firstly the commission number is CP52261. Which from reading the forums tells me its one of the earlier models, Petrol Injection, without overdrive. In Old English White. This was registered in Feb 1971 on an old J plate. Being the early version it has the 2.5, 150 brake engine. The car has done just 86000 genuine miles.
Obviously it is tax exempt being 38 years old or there abouts. MOT until 2010 with old mots and lots of bills. The car has been fully restored, including new leather, door cards, carpets and hood. The car is mechanically sound and in full working order. I can confirm this having driven the car approx 200 miles from its previous home.
The car has been wax oiled throughout, no rot or rust to be seen, and a very clean example of a great car. It has a wooden steering wheel, wooden dash like new, spax suspension, mini lights. It has been garaged at all times and only used in dry weather.
