Car 44 off the line, now believed 2nd oldest known in UK. Supplied to Marshalls Cambridge April 1958 as their demonstrator ready for the model launch on 20 May. Has the 9 peg windscreen.
Fully restored to concours for previous owner by AH specialist about 2006 but stored unused before reassembly quite completed. 1380 engine, race cam, Power Max pistons, Tuffrided crank, polished, ported head, wide bore exhaust, front discs and anti-roll bar, alloys, 175x13 tyres, all new trim to correct pattern, new hood & tonneau (never fitted). Detailed engine bay.
Now rescued, recommissioned, taxed, MoTd, & been to its first rally. Paintwork would benefit from minor attention from storage, or use as it is. Fabulous car to drive, but I’m already committed to other old cars. This very rare early car deserves a new loving home.
