I am selling my VW Splitscreen camper because of my dodgy right shoulder and left ankle - not conducive for driving a left hand drive manual car!
Here is a list of the stuff that has been done. IRS suspension, '68 Bay front beam with Fokesy adjuster and disc brakes. Body restored and all welding done with new chassis members and cross members and outriggers etc. About £100 worth of Dinitrol injected, sprayed everywhere possible.
New parts fitted
Steering box guard, all steering joints and drag link, shox front and rear, all brake lines and hoses, rear brake shoes and cylinders, starter, battery, Pertronix electronic ignition, Weber 32/36 carb, heated front screens with 15 min timer, Propex heater, front seat belts, electric cool box, Empi gear shift, cab door handles, door seals, window seals, LED interior lamps, upholstery and headlinings, tinted glass, water pump, fire extinguisher, etc etc - all that lot is new! There's a gas bottle and reg for the cooker and heater, cutlery and crockery, first aid kit, kettle, pots and pans, fresh and waste water roll - along containers. All ready to go. The engine was reconditioned allegedly before I bought it last year. It runs very well and quietly. Probably other odds and sods that are new like rear lamp lenses, headlamps etc. The lights light, the wipers wipe, the washers er, squirt, the horn beeps.... the wheels are Centrelines.
