Porsche 911 Carrera (1989)

First registered in November 1989 this Porsche 964 C2 was originally acquired by a gentleman in Oxford from Chariots Porsche of Kidlington with the ambition of competing in the Porsche Pirelli Championship. The car was prepared for competition by Parr UK, but from what we can determine the first owner decided not to follow his original plan. From 1990 to 1995 the car was run by Parr Motorsport and driven by Paul Edwards and David Saunders in the Production Car Championships.
In 1995 the car was returned to road specification and acquired by a gentleman in Sutton Surrey who used the car very sparingly. From 1995 to 2005 all but one of the MOT certificates (which are on file) were issued by Parr Garage and during this time the mileage increased from 12,400 to 18,000 miles (just 5,500 miles in 10 years). In 2007 the last owner acquired the car and covered approximately 10,000 miles.
During this most recent period of ownership all the service invoices have been kept and these show upgrades to brakes and suspension in 2007 by Parr Motorsport at a cost of £4,150 and in 2008 tyres and brake renewals costing £1,800. In July 2010 RSR Engineering serviced the car at 24,800 miles. In 2014 the car was treated to a complete front to back refresh by Autofarm at a cost of £5,500 this included a full service. In July 2016 Porsche Guildford serviced the car at 28,500 miles.
We have spoken to Parr Motorsport at length regarding this vehicle and we are hopeful that they may be able to produce some photographs of the car in competition guise. Very thorough maintenance manifests itself in a very good example of an increasingly sought after car with some competition history that has been attended to by experts in the marque. Ready to go in exceptionally good condition, for either road or track-day use.
