SALE AGREED

A genuine, right hand drive, UK delivered example in excellent condition following a thorough restoration in the 2000s. Very nicely finished to correct specification in its original colour scheme of Pastel green with Suede green interior and Fawn hood. The paint finish, chrome plating, upholstery, hood, etc, are all excellent, a lot of the work having been carried out by CMC of Bridgnorth. It seems that the car has been little used since the renovation, as evidenced by the cleanliness of the underside! In fact, in the last five years, just 100 miles have been covered. Lovely throughout, complete with a large history file, complete ownership record, Jaguar Heritage certificate, a buff logbook from 1962 and the rather lovely, original registration number. MoT tested until July 2019.

Chassis No. 667065 Reg. No. OOH 3

Snippets: Abodes of Interest
OOH 3 has resided at some diverse & interesting locations during her lifespan. These include Nr 87 Cadogan Gardens, an elegant mansion block named after the 1st Baron Cadogan whose wife, Elizabeth, was a daughter of Sir Hans Sloane – Royal Physician, Plantation Owner, naturalist & a Gentleman of Means. In 1962 OOH 3 was a resident of the village of Sawbridgeworth – during WWII aircraft such as the Spitfire, Lysanders, Mustangs and the Mosquito were flown from the local RAF station. The period of 1967 to 1990 saw the XK120 with J Henser at Bilsborrow Hall in Lancashire. The Hall was built in 1912 by Joseph Eccles (1863/1933), a keen cricketer whose family wealth came from cotton mills & printing; Joseph Eccles was also an early motorist who in 1930 had a “live in chauffeur” by the name of Leo Derbyshire! J Henser sold Bilsborrow Hall in 1973 to the local council who spent as much in converting the Hall to Judge’s residences as they did to buy it which caused some concern in Parliament.
